InMotion E1000’s small footprint and quiet operation make it suitable for use at home or in the office. An adjustable tension dial makes it easy to crank up the difficulty and make your workouts more challenging.
With the InMotion E1000, you can pedal forward or backward to work different muscles while you exercise. Reverse pedaling will target the glutes and hamstrings, while forward pedaling will target the quads.
For added versatility, you can use this elliptical sitting or standing. With a maximum weight limit of 113 kg, this elliptical can accommodate most users. Sturdy steel construction adds to the durability and longevity of this machine.
The built-in digital monitor is simple, but it displays all of your most important workout stats:
- Time
- Strides per minute
- Total strides
- Calories burned
The pedals have a non-slip surface that keep your feet in place while you exercise.
While this doesn’t affect the strider’s performance, the InMotion E1000 has three color options to match your personality: silver, orange and green.
The InMotion E1000 is lightweight and compact, so you can easily store it away in a closet, under a desk or even under the bed in between uses. Unlike some other compact striders (which are big and bulky), this one can easily be transported to and from work.
Assembly
The InMotion E1000 comes mostly assembled. The only parts you have to assemble are the pedals, base plate and rear stabilizer. The digital monitor is already installed and ready for use.

Assembly is simple and straightforward. Stamina includes detailed instructions and all of the hardware needed for installation.
All of these parts attach with just a few bolts or screws. Stamina includes Allen wrenches and wrenches to tighten the screws and bolts. In total, assembly takes less than 30 minutes. It’s so straightforward and simple, most people won’t even need the instructions.
One thing that should be noted is that you’ll need to make a few adjustments when switching between standing and sitting.
If you want to use this strider while seated, the digital display should be closest to you and the rear stabilizer should be facing away from you. You may need to lift up the face of the digital display and turn the direction so that the reading isn’t displayed upside down.
If you want to use this strider while standing, the digital display and rear stabilizer should be facing the opposite way.
The reason you want to switch positions is comfort and ergonomics. If the strider isn’t facing the appropriate way when sitting, your workout will be uncomfortable and inefficient.
Pros
- Use while standing or sitting
- Quiet operation
- Tension dial increases workout difficulty
- Lightweight and portable
- Comes mostly assembled
Cons
- Positioning can be confusing

As mentioned previously, you will need to change the positioning of the strider and the digital monitor when switching between sitting and standing use. However, these drawbacks are easily overlooked considering the affordability of this compact elliptical.
If you’re looking for a simple strider that’s easily portable and can still deliver a challenging workout, the Stamina InMotion E1000 is a great option.
